The School and Adult Day program at Lehmann Center focuses on builiding and improving daily living skills for adults with developmental and/or multiple disabilities. Programs and activities available at the center include: - Case management - Comprehensive adult education - Pre-vocational exploration - Nursing services - Assistive technology evaluation and training - Hearing and vision screenings - Dental clinic - Recreation and community inclusion programs

Provides assistance to adults who require supervision due to cognitive/physical impairments in a dignified, safe, social and stimulating environment. The program also provides a place for seniors who need socialization, structured stimulation or those who no longer can stay home alone.
Provides a supervised and caring environment that focuses on the individual needs of disabled or elderly adults who might otherwise be homebound (medical, social, and Alzheimer's programs). The program provides hot catered meals, transportation to and from SJH facilities and physician appointments. Patients are also offered daily stimulating activities - including arts and crafts, music, exercise, and even birthday parties. The staff can assist with insurance questions and prescription pickups.

Provides an interactive program led by our recreation team, along with light breakfast, complete lunch, and daily snacks. It offers assistance with toileting and ambulation, nursing support for medical conditions including medication administration, and social work support for participants, families, and caregivers. Additionally, it features on-site Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapists experienced with older adults, with meals planned by a registered dietitian.

Offers paid work experience to approximately 50 disabled clients in mailings, light assembly and packaging, prime manufacturing of ceramics, and community cleaning crews. Also offers relevant learning experiences through its many specialty groups such as communication, current events, relaxation and stress management and performing arts.
Provides daily exercise classes, art, games, music lectures, American & Jewish history lectures and other special programs. There are also current event group discussions and lunch. Visits are also made to the homebound. Transportation can be arranged.

Empowering individuals with disabilities, this program connects them to ongoing opportunities and activities in their local community, fostering physical and personal successes. Participants at the Occupational Training Center (OTC) experience a sense of pride and accomplishment, engaging in learning opportunities associated with community integration and becoming valued members of their neighborhood through active community involvement. The program not only teaches the effective use of community resources but also encourages participants to give back through volunteer activities with local organizations, including baking dog bones for shelters and collecting and delivering food to the local food bank. Transportation to the Community Access Center is provided.

The program encompasses four station areas, a changing room, and a designated "quiet area" for those requiring a less stimulating environment. Station areas cover nutrition, health and wellness, paper production, life skills, and technology. Community outings feature shopping, dining, bowling, and park visits, with each day structured to blend educational and enjoyable activities tailored to individual interests and objectives.

Provides participant's with a variety of recreational, health and social programming in a group setting. This programming enhances the daily lives of the program's participants and enables their continued involvement in the community.Transportation to and from the program may be provided by the Passaic County Para-Transit System, if the family is unable to do so.
Weekday programming for psychiatrically disabled adults, including those with substance abuse problems. Transportation provided. Participates in the Child & Adult Care Food Program.
