The School and Adult Day program at Lehmann Center focuses on builiding and improving daily living skills for adults with developmental and/or multiple disabilities. Programs and activities available at the center include: - Case management - Comprehensive adult education - Pre-vocational exploration - Nursing services - Assistive technology evaluation and training - Hearing and vision screenings - Dental clinic - Recreation and community inclusion programs

Provides a variety of stimulating programs which teach and improve skills for those with developmental disabilities. Activities and events are available to the participants including but not limited to; socialization, practical arts, computers, recreation, crafts, music therapy, community integration, sensory integration, clinical and medical services, fine and gross motor skills, reading, and psychological services.

Promotes adult behaviors, work attitudes, and constructive personal time usage through its environment. It offers training in perception, coordination, communication, socialization, and hygiene. Additionally, provides supervised recreational activities such as dances, bowling, ball games, theater, shopping, dining out, and field trips to museums, zoos, parks, and special exhibits.

Offers educational and training programs for adults with developmental and physical disabilities, tailored to their interests, family/caregiver needs, and independence goals. Services facilitate social and communication skills, life skills, recreation, health/wellness activities, educational/volunteer/employment opportunities, and self-advocacy. Also provides financial management assistance.

Facilitating connections for individuals with disabilities, this program opens doors to ongoing opportunities and local community activities, fostering both physical and personal successes. Operating from the Occupational Training Center (OTC), the program amplifies the participants' sense of pride and accomplishment. Participants actively engage in community life, leveraging learning opportunities tied to community integration. Beyond teaching resource utilization, the program inspires participants to give back through volunteer activities, such as baking dog bones for shelters and delivering food to local banks, organized by the OTC in collaboration with non-profits. Transportation to the Community Access Center is included.

Enhance the lives of adults on the autism spectrum through the Adults with Autism Day Program, fostering their success in a supportive environment. Services encompass skills assessment, family involvement in treatment planning, individual guidance, consultations with applied behavioral analysis consultants, activities of daily living and leisure skills training, social skills groups, community-based recreational activities, and pre-vocational and vocational training. The program implements a 3-Tier community placement system, including Transitional Employment, Job Coaching, and Supported Employment, with ongoing support. Collaborates with other service providers, such as psychiatric, medical, occupational therapy, and physical therapy as needed.

Provides support to developmentally disabled individuals to enhance skills in areas such as personal care, household duties, safety, money management, occupational readiness, use of public transportation, and socialization/communication.

Provides funds a wide range of services that enable eligible adults with intellectual and disabilities, age 21 or older, to live, work, and thrive in their community.

Offers a day program for people who have significant intellectual/developmental disabilities. The center works with participants to develop personal awareness, social and work skills, as well as to further each individual's capacity for self determination and decision making.

Provides a self-directed day program for disabled adults over 21 years of age offering an array of services which include:- Academic tutoring- Job skill training and job sampling- Entrepreneurial job endeavors- Volunteer work/community services- Leisure and recreational activities- Physical fitness activities- Personal care services- TransportationAlso offers weekend and evening activities, hotel respite, and individual support services.

Provides an adult day habilitation program, after-school care, and in-home respite services for children and adults with physical and other disabilities. Services extend to families of disabled individuals, featuring programs like the Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP), after-school care, agency-based respite, in-home respite, adult day program, and teenage/adult recreation program offered twice a month.

Offers paid work experience to approximately 50 disabled clients in mailings, light assembly and packaging, prime manufacturing of ceramics, and community cleaning crews. Also offers relevant learning experiences through its many specialty groups such as communication, current events, relaxation and stress management and performing arts.

Provides developmentally disabled adults with a wide range of support and advocacy services. Service options include day habilitation, pre-vocational training, aftercare/afterwork socialization programs, and community integration training.

Facilitates independence and community engagement for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities through a range of supportive options, including residential apartments and homes, vocational training and job support in day programs, volunteer activities, job placements both locally and within Bancroft, in-home and respite services, a parenting program tailored for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and a specialized program addressing the unique needs of senior citizens within this population.

Provides various recreation and educational services/programs for senior citizens.

Provides wellness, independence, and socialization for older adults. Encourages good health and fosters connections for caregivers and participants. Registered nurses and social workers are available to assist with specific needs.

Enhancing the lives of adults with complex medical issues, the program offers a special needs initiative alongside community, behavioral, and therapy programs. Dedicated teams of nurses and occupational therapists work to increase range of motion, reduce muscle atrophy, enhance cognitive awareness, provide muscular stimulation, address swallowing issues, and improve daily living skills. Staff members meticulously deliver services, incorporating therapeutic devices like supine standers, therapeutic wings, and adaptive equipment for routine activities when appropriate. Specialized equipment, designed to increase cognitive awareness and provide muscle stimulation, is also utilized. The OTC is committed to tailoring therapies to meet the unique needs of each consumer, with transportation to the center provided.

Offers participants the chance to enjoy a range of activities that help people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD) learn new skills and make new friends. Activities include an Day Habilitation program center for adults, recreational programs/activities, in-home respite care services, a life-skills training program, and weekend programing.

Provides various services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families who live within Hudson County. Services include, but are not limited to: After school program, Adult evening care, Family support groups and recreational programs and Information and referral.

Offers adult medical day care services, which include door-to-door transportation, meals, medical and nursing services, a manicurist and hairdresser, a quiet room, access to social services, physical therapy, and field trips. Various group activities are also organized such as music events, movies, and group exercise.

Provides a vocational day training program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ages 21 and older. Participants who attend the program live throughout the community, and receive training in socialization, activities of daily living, and vocational skills. Community integration is the focus of all scheduled activities. The program participates in meals-on-wheels and offers training in computer and academic skills.

Enables participants to live at home in the evenings and on the weekends while receiving individualized care for their medical, nursing, social, rehabilitative and personal needs at the centers.Services include:- Health Supervision and Nursing Care- Recreational Activities- Nutritious Meals- Special Medical Care Services (Dental, Podiatry, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy..etc)- Transportation (Doctor's appointment & shopping)
