Provides short-term or periodic relief to unpaid, daily caregivers of functionally impaired adults. Respite can occur in-home, at adult day care, or overnight, enabling caregivers to rest, attend appointments, or manage emergencies. Services may include companion services, homemaker assistance, private-duty nursing, laundry, and errands.
