Special Needs Program - Marlton | Occupational Training Center of Burlington County
Enhancing the lives of adults with complex medical issues, the program offers a special needs initiative alongside community, behavioral, and therapy programs. Dedicated teams of nurses and occupational therapists work to increase range of motion, reduce muscle atrophy, enhance cognitive awareness, provide muscular stimulation, address swallowing issues, and improve daily living skills. Staff members meticulously deliver services, incorporating therapeutic devices like supine standers, therapeutic wings, and adaptive equipment for routine activities when appropriate. Specialized equipment, designed to increase cognitive awareness and provide muscle stimulation, is also utilized. The OTC is committed to tailoring therapies to meet the unique needs of each consumer, with transportation to the center provided.
