Assists with physical, sensory, developmental, and mental health needs, coordinating home healthcare, financial benefits, and essential services.- Modification Access Project (MAP): Provides partial funding for Bergen County residents to enhance home accessibility.- SAIL Program: Offers partial/full funding for medical devices and home modifications for disabled Hudson County residents. Provides a $250.00 annual SAIL fund for incontinent and wound care supplies.- Special Needs Assistance Program: Grants financial assistance (up to $300) for modifications and assistive devices to elderly or disabled Bergen County residents aged 18-64.

Empowers individuals with disabilities by offering supportive services, including Information and Referral for assistive technology devices and services, Advocacy Services, Legal Representation for cases of denied access, a used equipment recycling program named Back In Action, and Educational Presentations highlighting the benefits and strategies for obtaining assistive technology.

Provides a free in-home assessment by an Assistive Technology Specialist to help create a tailored plan to see how technology can help the caregiver and care recipient. The specialist will help to create a plan, install assistive technology, and provide education on how to use the devices. The team will also provide ongoing support to be sure the technology continues to meet the family's needs.

Program where members of PAAD may receive a reimbursement to offset the purchase of a hearing aid. Provides a $500 reimbursement to offset the purchase of a hearing aid, one reimbursement is allowed per calendar year, hearing aid means a custom-fitted ear-level or body-worn electronic device which enhances communication for the hearing impaired.

Provides technical assistance for individuals that are seeking to make adaptive modifications to their home or vehicle. The program also helps families in purchasing adaptive technology.

Live webinar sessions are provided to help people qualify for a loan to purchase what will best meet their needs. Affordable loans from $500 to $30,000 are available for the purchase of home/vehicle modification, hearing aids, smart phones, stair lifts, sports equipment and other assistive technology.

Offers grants to children with disabilities for communication equipment, education services, and programs that build self-esteem. The grant may cover communication technology and devices, scholarships in education, the arts, and music/sports, sports wheelchairs, adaptive sports programs, camps and retreats, early literacy programs and learning aids, after school programs, performance groups for disabled or disadvantaged children, outings, parties, and experiences.
