Advocating for the rights of persons with disabilities, Disability Rights New Jersey (DRNJ) operates various federally funded programs. These programs include Protection and Advocacy for Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PADD), ensuring remedies for individuals' rights; Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI), safeguarding the rights of those with mental illness; Protection and Advocacy for Individual Rights (PAIR), advocating for all persons with disabilities; Client Assistance Program (CAP), offering assistance for those receiving rehab services; Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS), providing support for SSA beneficiaries; Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (PATBI), offering legal assistance to TBI individuals and families; Protection & Advocacy for Assistive Technology (PAAT), ensuring access to assistive technology; Assistive Technology Advocacy Center (ATAC), making assistive technology accessible; Protection & Advocacy for Voter Access (PAVA), ensuring voting opportunities for disabled individuals; and PABRP, conducting reviews of representative payees for Social Security beneficiaries.
