Provides children dealing with serious mental health, behavioral and emotional concerns with a safe, consistent, structured and caring environment as Archway Programs staff discovers their individual strengths and the children overcome barriers through coping and social skills.Children in the HOPE Program typically live at or below poverty line and often times their families or caretakers have limited resources for necessities such as shelter, food, clothing and transportation. Many of the youth served are coping with emotional, social and behavioral health problems such as mood swings or depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma, thought disorders and psychosis, impulsivity, aggression and anger, hyperactivity and inattention, suicidal thoughts or attempts and other behaviors which pose a risk to themselves or others.

Enhances and improves family relationships through family programs and various services for children and parents. Utilizing a science-based approach, Strengthens Families (SFP) reduces problem behaviors and fosters positive parenting tools in 2-hour weekly sessions over 7 weeks. Unifying Families (UF) enhances home relationships through a 4-hour evidence-based program, meeting twice a month with dinner and childcare. Both programs, available in Spanish, host support sessions and quarterly parent training, and can be held at HPR or your site.
