The center offers a range of activities, including recreational, social, and educational events and trips, with reservations required for many programs. Special initiatives include "A Friend in Need," offering temporary partial assistance to the frail elderly in times of crisis, and the Friends of the Center Volunteer Group, actively involved in planning fundraising events to support outreach programs. Additionally, there are support groups for diabetes and Parkinson's, with new volunteers welcomed for general office/clerical tasks, luncheon set-ups, reception, and telephone duties.
