Empowers community residents by providing a community-based, family-centered gathering place-the Promise Neighborhood Family Success Center. Residents can access family support, information, and services in a safe and supportive home-like environment designed to strengthen the family unit, build relationships, enrich lives, and fortify neighborhoods.Services offered at the center include applying for stipends to cover utility expenses through the Assistance for Gas and Electric (PAGE) program, linking families to community resources, hosting cross-cultural family dinners, organizing parent-child activities, providing referral services, offering information on family health, delivering housing-related services, facilitating family goal setting, conducting budgeting and goal-setting sessions, hosting parenting workshops, providing life skills training, offering job search, resume building, and interview tips, organizing parent and community cafes, and engaging in advocacy and home visits.
