Library by Mail | Morris County Library

Provides a free home delivery service of library materials to home-bound individuals. Participants may select their own books or have librarians make selections based on their reading profile. Materials may be requested by mail, phone or from the online catalog.

Paralysis Resource Center | Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation

Provides individualized support via phone and email on paralysis and related topics, such as equipment exchange programs and the rehabilitation process. Also provides a website with access to various services, including: a comprehensive resource database, educational materials on paralysis, a lending library, peer mentoring programs, and funding to nonprofits through the Quality of Life Grants program.

At Home Services | Monroe Township Public Library

Offers a door-to-door book delivery service for homebound residents who are experiencing long-term or temporary situations (i.e. recovering from a short-term surgery). The service runs once every three weeks, providing individuals with enough materials to last that time period.

Homebound Services | Gloucester County Library System

Provides a free service for ill or disabled library patrons who have no other way to access library materials. A Reader's Advisor assists the patron in choosing materials from books, videos, and music CDs available in the library's collection. The materials are delivered to the patron by a library volunteer, who will return for pick up. Items may be borrowed for 4 weeks, and may be renewed for an additional 4-week period if desired.

Books By Mail | Ocean County Library

Provides books and othe library items by delivery in a nylon bag to residents who cannot leave their homes due to illness or disability. A form needs to be completed by the homebound customer and signed by a physician. Materials are returned to the Library in the same nylon bag. Return postage and the Library's address are on the reverse side of the card. Once registered with Books by Mail, customers may request materials in writing or over the phone.
