The range of medical equipment and supplies includes manual and power wheelchairs, walkers, canes, hospital beds, lifts, portable ramps, bath aides, surgical gloves, gauze, tapes, tubing, and disposable undergarments, bed pans/liners, and adult diapers.

Eligibility criteria include ineligibility for Medicaid and Medicaid waiver programs, along with resources not exceeding $40,000 for an individual or $60,000 for a couple. Participants contribute to the cost on a sliding scale based on their income.
