Assists veterans and their dependents in claiming entitlements under various veteran programs. Services include preparing and forwarding claims for pension, education, hospitalization, and outpatient care. Additionally, the program offers post-traumatic stress counseling for Vietnam veterans, veterans tuition credit, POW/MIA program, and war orphans tuition assistance.
Provides advice and information regarding veterans' benefits and aid in filing claims. Assists in the connection to counseling, and Homeless Vets Rehab Residential Programs.Services included:-Assistance with filing disability claims-Connection to Veteran benefits and a copy of DD214 if needed. -Death benefit claim filing assistance-Homeless Veteran information and referral information
Established to serve veterans, the Community-Based Outpatient Clinic enables registration with the Veterans Administration (VA) and offers specific medical exams. Staffed by a Practice Manager for applications, appointments, and referrals, the clinic also has a nurse or nurse practitioner conducting medical exams and prescribing medications. The on-site Psychosocial Rehabilitation and Recovery Center delivers mental health services for veterans with severe and persistent mental illnesses, including case management, counseling, education, employment assistance, individual psychotherapy, insurance benefit assistance, public affairs, and outreach to homeless veterans and those at risk of homelessness.
