Provides a safety awareness and promotion program designed for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and dementia who have a greater personal safety risk due to their impairment in memory and cognition. Provides individuals and families with educational information and resources about home and personal safety, and provides professional education and training about Alzheimer's and dementia to New Jersey law enforcement and emergency first-responders.

Provides a bracelet, fitted with a transmitter, utilizing radio technology to aid in locating missing persons. Eligible county residents with a history of wandering due to illness or disability, like Autism or Alzheimer's disease, can receive the bracelet free of charge. A caregiver living with the participant must check the bracelet's battery signal daily. In case of a missing family member, the Sheriffs Office employs a specialized tracking device to pinpoint their location. However, Project Lifesaver does not substitute constant supervision and monitoring or other safety measures like alarms.

Provides an online registry that allows individuals to confirm their safety to their loved ones after any major disaster. Users can register their identity on the website, which allows their loved ones to find them. In addition, concerned loved ones can search the registry for disaster victims.

Provides programs and services to adult seniors and adults with disabilities in effort to help them live independently. Services provided include but are not limited to: assisted transportation, health and fitness programs, in-home care services, adult daycare, legal services, meal delivery, pharmaceutical prescription services, and personal assistance service program.

Provides comprehensive support to victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, as well as their families, including immediate crisis intervention, survivor and peer support, emotional assistance for runaways, referrals to agencies and mental health professionals, reunification services, sibling support, and help locating resources for sexually exploited youth. Additionally, it offers assistance to law enforcement when local services are insufficient.

Serves as an emergency notification program for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's, other forms of dementia, or autistic and mentally challenged children. Caregivers may register their loved one with the police to help locate them if they wander off. Police will take a photo and gather information about the family member.
