Programs include property tax freeze and rebate assistance, discount ID and medical cards, citywide information networking, notary services, Senior Citizens' Holiday Party, assistance with senior benefits such as: Low-Income Medicare Beneficiary Program, and Home energy assistance.

Provides information and referral assistance, linkages to community resources, and help completing various forms, such as those for rent abatement, taxes, Lifeline, Social Security, Home Energy, PAAD, and other health insurance forms. Any assistance that can be provided to a senior is given by the Office on Aging. Home visits are often provided for incapacitated and homebound senior customers.

People affected by federally declared disasters or who are combat zone participants who need help with tax matters can call this special toll-free telephone number. Callers can find out about available tax relief, get free copies of their tax return transcripts, and receive Disaster Tax Loss Kits. Callers may also be referred to the Federal Emergency Management Agency's assistance lines for additional help.
