Operates an emergency homeless shelter for single, adult Mercer County residents. Dinner and breakfast are served. Clients have access to shower and laundry facilities. The shelter is a gateway to housing, with access to case management services and linkages to community programs and services that will assist with the most pressing needs and address the issues contributing to homelessness. Transitional housing is also available on a limited basis.

Offers short-term (at least 30 days) shelter for homeless, single men and women in Newark. Guest receive a locker for their belongings, a bed, clean linens, toiletries, and shower facilities. Local donors periodically provide an evening meal and/or program.If the facility is at capacity UCC will make every effort to connect clients with another shelter or service provider.
