Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) | Southwest Council

Educates and evaluates drunk and drugged drivers, and underage drinkers who have been convicted of DUI (Driving Under the Influence). These offenders are mandated by the court to participate in the IDRC program. Non-compliant offenders face revocation of their licenses and possible incarceration. The program includes drug and alcohol education as well as evaluation, treatment referral and monitoring when indicated. The program is court-mandated and in lieu of a jail term.

Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) | Preferred Behavioral Health Group

Operates an Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) for individuals convicted of a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) or DWI (Driving While Intoxicated). Offenders must attend a court-mandated 12-hour DWI Offenders program which serves as an alternative to jail. Resources include: drug and alcohol education, evaluation, treatment referral, and monitoring.

Division of Veterans Services | Bergen County Department of Human Services

Actively assisting veterans and their dependents in Bergen County, the Division of Veterans Services facilitates the acquisition of earned entitlements from federal, state, and local governments, as well as private sectors. Daily activities involve housing assistance referrals, requests for lost military separation papers, medal replacement, VA health care enrollment, job counseling, and transportation to VA medical facilities. Special programs include providing American flags for Memorial Day, arranging burial in a veteran's cemetery for indigent veterans, and the "Tracers" program. Additionally, the Division conducts group meetings called "Veterans First" to assist formerly homeless veterans transitioning into housing. Operating the Alfred J. Thomas Home for Veterans since 2003, the Division offers transitional housing, therapy, and counseling for chronically homeless veterans.
