Providing parenting education and support in a secure setting, the Family Life Center assists individuals connected with the Division of Protection and Permanency (DCP&P). Its goal is to reduce abuse or neglect risks by encouraging positive parent/child interaction. Parents attend nurturing parenting classes, receive referrals to community resources, and participate in stress and anger management sessions. Children engage in supervised parent-child interactions, developmental activities, and receive homework help.

Transportation is provided. Hours vary dependent on planned activity, on Saturdays.

StreetLeaders participate in community service; life skills classes; one-on-one tutoring; SAT/ACT courses; academic enrichment courses; and arts activities. Teens are encouraged to avoid negative influences and focus on their academic and professional future. The programs focus on achievement has led to a 100% graduation rate of StreetLeader seniors; 97% transition into college (90%) or to vocational training (7%).
