JVS placement staff actively support participants in overcoming barriers hindering their employment prospects.

Assists current and returning Woodbridge Area Veterans, National Guard Members, Reservists, and Spouses with information and guidance. Assists veterans with local business employment opportunities, job and employment training, higher education, counseling, social services, and other areas of concern. The representatives assist with vocational and career training grants, employment and job search coaching, post service veteran education assistance, hiring vets employer subsidies, social media networking and identifying available veteran benefits guidance.
