Provides adult occupational training in various areas, such as: business, legal and medical office skills, basic education, and ESL.

Offered to County Welfare Agency (CWA) and Department of Labor (DOL) participants, eligible to receive training at the Urban League of Hudson County's (ULOHC) Training Center, in order to obtain employment at day care centers. The program mandates a commitment of 35 hours per week, of which 20 hours is spent in licensed Day Care Centers or with registered Family Day Care Providers. These components enables the participants to receive experience, hands-on training, and mentoring for 4 weeks.

Provides high school students in the coverage area the opportunity to gain job training experience in horticultural fields, develop leadership skills, and receive encouragement to pursue a college education.

Offers a rehabilitation training program, which assists individuals with a history of mental illness in entering/returning to the workforce. It also provides employment counseling and job coach services to help individuals increase/develop job skills, and to help them to find and maintain employment. Job Placement services are provided in a variety of areas. In addition, the program operates a mobile cleaning crew that provides janitorial services in the community.

Equips participants with essential skills for the growing customer service sector through hands-on, computer-based training, addressing basic office skills, customer communication, and literacy deficiencies. Additionally, offers support, counseling, mentoring, and referrals to further services to enhance career prospects.

Provides job training programs and career services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment. Programs offered at the training centers include a combined GED/College credit prorgam, digital skills training, forklift certification, CDL-B training, job coaching, transitional work experience, and supported employment.

Offers specialized classes and support groups which cover civics for residency preparation, ESL at varying levels, financial literacy, health and nutrition, practical skills, and Spanish for English-speaking professionals.

Provides training and career services for women. Services include: career counseling, computer literacy courses, ESL courses, job placement, interview skills, occupational training, personal finance workshops, resume writing, small business development, and training and education.

Provides employment assistance and training for women interested in entering the hospitality industry. Helps women work toward economic independence through a workforce and economic development strategy. Services include: job readiness, life skills, job placement assistance and referral, case management, job coaching, industry linkages, and related training with the community college.

Offers a 16 week, job training program in the culinary arts. The course incorporates classes in life skills and basic education as well culinary education.

Provides several training and employment programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Transition services are offered for students moving out of highschool to a working environment.

Offers comprehensive training in several disciplines, Adult Basic Skills education classes, and GED classes. Additionally, it is a designated One Stop Center where individuals can conduct job searches utilizing the computer lab and resource center. Programs includes health care careers, building trades specialist program, culinary arts specialist program, automotive technician program, diesel technician program, business and computer technologies, and high school equivalency program.

Provides vocational and independent living skills training for individuals who are blind, deaf-blind, or visually impaired. It offers programs in job skills, daily living activities, and safe navigation to help participants achieve self-sufficiency. The center also provides residential accommodations for intensive, personalized training in a supportive environment.

Access Unlimited provides adults in Monmouth County with developmental and/or multiple disabilities vocational training, work experience, job placement, and specialized work training assistance in various areas. Some of these areas include food service, office/computer skills, and custodial services.

Empowering both youth and adults to enhance their knowledge, skills, and quality of life, and address challenges in food, nutrition, health, wellness, safety, agriculture, and environmental management through science-based insights and university research. Available programs encompass 4-H Youth Development (grades K-13), Master Gardener training and certification, and volunteer initiatives, alongside family and community wellness programs.

Assists both job-seekers seeking career opportunities or skills training and employers seeking new candidates to hire. Services for job seekers include skilled training programs, resume writing, employment assistance, job readiness workshops, and access to resources like computers and telephones. For employers, services include access to a diverse pool of candidates, targeted recruiting, pre-screened candidates, and customized training options.

Offers several employment and educational services for women in the community. Programs include: job training; basic, work, computer, and life skills training; GED; nutrition assistance; food handling; and domestic violence services.

Assists individuals seeking permanent employment to launch a culinary career through a 13-week, 30-hour-per-week course. The curriculum blends 10 hours of classroom instruction weekly with 20 hours of practical training in Fulfills kitchen for 12 weeks. Topics cover safe food handling, equipment operation, nutrition, recipe planning, cooking methods, and job readiness skills.

Offers an assortment of training services in packaging, production, fulfillment, mailing, maintenance, and custodial work for disabled individuals. All training and work is supervised, with the overall purpose of giving all individuals the opportunity to work in, live in, and to be contributing members of the community.

Provides pre-vocational evaluation, work adjustment training, and training skills. Industries providing placement and follow-up include building services, business technology, food service, production, and retail sales.

Provides the ability to gain hands-on training and experience in specific career skills. Participants can work in the following areas: Workshop, Food, Maintenance and/or Office skills.

Trains at-risk young men and women (high school drop-outs) in the construction trades while rehabilitating vacant, inner-city houses. Offers peer-based vocational and academic training, team building, leadership development and job placement services.

Provides job training and placement in the food service industry for adults interested in attaining careers in the culinary profession.The six-month course provides fundamental cookery skills appropriate to basic positions in professional food preparation, includes introduction to culinary arts/breakfast cookery, buffet prep/short order, garde Manger/Pantry, introduction to baking and pastry arts.
