Provides a unique, year-long opportunity for Philadelphia youth, ages 17 through 24, who want to help their community while developing technical and career skills. Through Learn & Serve experiences, participants gain hands-on, advanced knowledge of IT (Information Technology) and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) subjects and, in turn, provide digital literacy training to more than 400 youth living in the region's most vulnerable and under-resourced neighborhoods.
Assists individuals living with serious mental illness in entering or returning to the workforce. Provides vocational services, helping clients identify career interests and preferences. Staff collaborates with clients to assess strengths, aiming to find, attain, and maintain a job and career. Additionally, offers on-the-job training for individuals interested in learning job duties and managing the employee/employer relationship.
