Supportive counseling is available in-home or virtually and includes advocacy with insurance companies, medical providers, and landlords. Also provides material support such as food, clothing, toys, household items, holiday gifts, and emergency financial assistance.

State funded comprehensive screening services for breast, cervical, prostate, and colorectal cancer for low income and inadequately insured NJ residents. Services include free education, outreach, early detection screenings including mammograms, and PAP Tests, case management, and follow-up. These cancers can be treated more effectively when found early.

Trained cancer information specialists are available via phone, or live chat providing accurate, up to date cancer information to patients, family members and caregivers and connecting them with valuable services and resources in their communities.

Offers comprehensive outreach, case management, education and screening services for breast, cervical, colorectal and prostate cancers to Warren County residents. Free cancer screenings will be provided to county residents who qualify.

Provides comprehensive dental care to patients for whom existing options at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine may not be adequate. Types of special healthcare needs that may require care provided in this setting include: developmental/intellectual disabilities, cognitive disabilities, progressive neurologic conditions, complex physical disabilities, and patients unable to transfer from wheelchair or gurney.

Provides callers with background information on a variety of health topics. Callers can also request to have health information mailed to their home. The service does not provide diagnosis.

Provides resources that support the complex needs of brain tumor patients and caregivers including options for treatment, and research information. Additional services include a peer-to-peer support pairing brain tumor patients and caregivers with mentors who have been through a similar experience with the condition.

Offers a variety of cancer specific programs and support including counseling, educational lectures, healthy lifestyle programs and social events. Programs are free to all those impacted by cancer.

Supports medical research, patient services, and public education on the subject. Offers referrals to local medical resources and sponsors the Thalassemia Action Group (TAG), a support group for patients and their families. Provides publications on the topic to the public.

Provides educational information, monthly meetings with lectures by doctors and researchers to educate patients and families on all aspects of the disease and its care. Fund-raising to improve diagnostic facilities and to fund research. Telephone peer counseling and support groups available to members.

Offers information, referrals, social and recreational activities, educational and health programs and trips for municipal residents who are senior citizens. Meals are available through the county Senior Meals program. Outreach liaison available. Outreach services include friendly visitors. Transportation available for those in program.
