Specialists investigate complaints and refer cases beyond jurisdiction. Free complaint forms and fact sheets are available. Handles cases involving hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, Medicaid/Medicare agencies, welfare programs, daycares, doctors' offices, pharmacies, children's health programs, addiction treatment centers, adoption agencies, and mental health/developmental disabilities agencies.

Provides individuals with disabilities information on how to file a discrimination complaint against a government office or any business open to the public. Provides online and over the phone support for filing complaints.

Enables individuals to file an online complaint about housing discrimination, covering various processes such as apartment rental, home buying, and mortgages. Staff review submitted complaints to determine jurisdiction under civil rights laws, contacting clients for further details or to aid in filing an official discrimination complaint.

Aims to ensure fair housing policies residents. Provides assistance on filing housing discrimination complaints, referrals on housing issues, education, training and technical assistance for individuals, groups, institutions and other interested parties.

Advocacy promotes and ensures the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the community. The staff directs efforts toward working with individual consumers, who face difficulties in areas of housing, employment, transportation, remaining independent in the homes, assists with completing applications for immigration, Social Security, and other financial benefit programs.Special services are also offered for underserved minorities who have disabilities.

Enables victims of housing discrimination to file a complaint through the Fair Housing Council of Northern New Jersey. Legal assistance may be available through the agency in following up with a fair housing complaint.
