ACCESS Deaf Services - COVID-19 Helpline for Individuals Who Are Deaf and/or Hard of Hearing | Saint Joseph's Regional Medical Center
Provides a helpline for emotional support tailored to deaf and hard of hearing individuals. Through direct communication with licensed social workers fluent in American Sign Language, individuals receive expertise in the challenges of diagnosis and treatment, sensitivity to deaf culture, and understanding of hearing loss issues. ACCESS, under normal circumstances, offers outpatient therapy services to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and their families.
