With Short-Term Mentoring Program provides weekly phone calls to seniors who miss community connections but cannot leave their homes, our Short-Term Mentoring Program offers essential social support. This helps alleviate loneliness and improve overall well-being, with matches renewed monthly based on participants' needs and volunteers' availability.

Confidential Sexual Violence Advocate Training | Saint Francis Community Center

Recruits volunteers for the Sexual Abuse and Assault Program at Saint Francis Counseling Service to work on the 24-hour hotline and provide support to rape survivors at area hospitals. Individuals with relevant work or life experience, particularly bilingual (Spanish), are encouraged to apply. Training workshops, leading to certification as Confidential Sexual Violence Advocates (CSVA), are held periodically.
