Summer intensive programs place volunteers at non-profit organizations over two 4-week sessions. Weekend projects take place throughout the year. Transportation is provided to and from volunteer sites.

Volunteer programs include:- Handyman Program- Tax Assistance Program- Tutoring Program (K-12)- State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP)
Recruits volunteers for the Sexual Abuse and Assault Program at Saint Francis Counseling Service to work on the 24-hour hotline and provide support to rape survivors at area hospitals. Individuals with relevant work or life experience, particularly bilingual (Spanish), are encouraged to apply. Training workshops, leading to certification as Confidential Sexual Violence Advocates (CSVA), are held periodically. Volunteers commit to three flexible 12-hour shifts per month upon completion of the training.

The agency provides volunteers with language, cross-cultural, and technical training.
Participating in the Citizen Corps Program, CERT-Community Emergency Response Team organizes volunteer services for crime, natural disasters, and terrorism. CERT members play a crucial role by offering vital support to first responders during emergencies, aiding victims, coordinating spontaneous volunteers, and gathering disaster intelligence. Training typically spans 18 hours, conducted in 2-4 hour modules over weeks or months, covering areas such as basic First Aid, Family Disaster Preparedness, Disaster Fire Suppression, Medical Operations, CERT operations, Disaster Mental Health, Basic emergency Management, and Disaster Simulation-Skills review.

Pairs senior volunteers with pre-school, kindergarten and first grade children to advance their literacy skills. It is the only in-classroom program of its kind in Monmouth County and is currently in 19 underserved public schools. Volunteers visit the same classroom each week during the school year to read to a small group of children and share their love of literature. Reading Buddies

Over 120 people actively assist in areas such as braille production, individual tutoring, and counseling.
