Provides local youth the opportunity to better the community by directly working within the community, learning about the community health needs and specific health threats to Perth Amboy, retreats that build leadership skills, monthly meetings, emerging leaders also provides participants with summer employment, and monthly meeting stipends.

AmeriCorps is a community-based program that recruits, trains and places members in intensive service learning opportunities at non-profits and schools throughout Middlesex County. Learning opportunities include help with disaster services, economic opportunity, education, environment stewardship, healthy futures, veterans and military families. Members can earn up to $5,550 educational stipend and a living allowance in return for thier commitment and service.

Provides enrichment programs and clubs to boys ages 7 and older, and girls ages 5 - 12. Clubs meet monthly with games, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, projects, and snacks. Encourages older girls to lead and engage in service-oriented crafts.

Provides an educational, social, and recreational center offering activities to youth and families. Activities may include indoor games, aquatic programs, computer classes, exercise classes, and child care.

Empowering both youth and adults to enhance their knowledge, skills, and quality of life, and address challenges in food, nutrition, health, wellness, safety, agriculture, and environmental management through science-based insights and university research. Available programs encompass 4-H Youth Development (grades K-13), Master Gardener training and certification, and volunteer initiatives, alongside family and community wellness programs.

Provides a variety of supportive programs to students of Perth Amboy High School and their families through the School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP). Offers case management, assistance with college applications, community referrals for social services, immigration services, employment counseling, and recreational activities. Delivers intensive mental health counseling, including individual, group, and family sessions covering topics such as school, drugs/alcohol, abuse, family conflicts, peer pressure, relationships, eating disorders, and violence prevention. Collaborates with community health providers to teach pregnancy prevention and sexual education in ninth-grade health classes, and offers one-on-one sessions on risk reduction and healthy decisions.

Provides a variety of structured, curriculum-based childcare programs for all ages, emphasizing learning through play and social/emotional development, with daily meal service. Programs cater to infants/toddlers (6 weeks to 2 1/2 years), preschoolers (2 1/2 to 5 1/2 years), before and after kindergarten children (5 1/2 to 6 1/2 years), school-age children (grades 1-8), and a summer camp (ages 6 to 12) including breakfast, lunch, and snack.

Provides a hands on approach to enable youth to develop the knowledge, attitudes, and skills they need to become contributing citizens to their communities. The goals of the 4-H Development Program are to provide informal educational programs, encourage responsibility, and improve community partnerships and collaborations.

Employs 50-75 Camden-area teens as counselors, tutors, and mentors for children attending after-school programs and summer camps. Employees participate in community service; life skills classes; one-on-one tutoring; SAT/ACT courses; academic enrichment courses; and arts activities. Teens are encouraged to avoid negative influences and focus on their academic and professional future.

The program serves as a support system, providing encouragement and motivation. After completing the term, members receive intensive transition support for post-secondary education, continuing national service, or securing meaningful work. Aims to impact the lives and career paths of young people in Camden by offering meaningful opportunities.
