Provides children with pre-school program, after-school activities, summer care, computer training, substance abuse prevention and outreach programs. Program is designed for low-income families in effort to raise them out of poverty.

Operates a fitness center that provides fitness classes and recreational programs. Also offers a preschool program, school age after-school child care, and other special events.

Mercer Street Friends Center offers a free, year-round pre-school for children, ages 3 through 5, living in Trenton. The preschool is an Abbott approved school.
