Operates a no-kill adoption shelter for cats and dogs. Ensures all shelter animals are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, and undergo comprehensive veterinary exams and temperament testing. Provides kennel enrichment programs and free-roaming catteries to promote animal well-being. Additional services include: pet adoption, appointment-based pet surrendering, animal rescue from overcrowded euthanizing facilities, and micro-chipping.

Provides animal control services for designated areas and cares for approximately 1,000 lost, abandoned, and surrendered animals per year. We provide free humane education to schools and interested groups.

Promotes humane care and treatment of animals by operating an animal shelter and offering pet adoption services. Goals include seeking responsible homes, reducing pet overpopulation through spaying/neutering, providing healthcare, and reuniting lost pets with families. Volunteers assist in various shelter activities.

Rescuing, caring for, and re-homing unwanted, abused, abandoned, and sick animals, the animal center advocates for responsible spay/neuter practices, educates the community about pet ownership, reunites lost pets with owners, provides pet therapy to nursing home residents, guides school children in pet selection, supports other welfare organizations, and ensures investigation of animal abuse and cruelty.

Provides as a permanent refuge for animals that are homeless or injured. While pets can be adopted, already owned pets can be scheduled for a low cost spay or nurture.

Provides shelter, food, medical care and rehabilitation for domestic animals while finding permanent homes for them. Focusing on animals with the greatest needs, RBARI is especially committed to those often rejected, including seniors, urgent medical cases, and surrenders.
