Seeks to assist primarily Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) and General Assistance (GA) recipients with employment-directed services such as job search, counseling and training in order that clients obtain financial self-sufficiency.In addition to TANF/GA benefits, participants receive payments for childcare, transportation, and other work-related expenses. Usually, clients losing TANF eligibility, due to employment, continue to receive Medicaid, Food Stamps, and subsidized childcare.

Assisting out-of-school Passaic County youth aged 16 to 24 in earning a high school equivalency diploma, the program enhances life skills and prepares them for college and careers, offering stipends to eligible participants. It includes preparation for the High School Diploma Equivalency Exam in Math, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies at the students' own pace, as well as instruction in career and life skills such as interviewing techniques, resume writing, job search strategies, career exploration, college readiness, financial literacy, goal setting, and effective communication. Additionally, it provides assistance in improving basic skills and navigating the college process.
