Additionally, the program hosts support groups, including Family Asthma Support, a monthly gathering for asthmatic children and their families facilitated by Respiratory Therapists, and Better Breathers, a monthly group for individuals with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) featuring presentations and discussions on topics related to chronic respiratory illness.

School-Based Nurse Practitioner Program | Visiting Nurse Association Health Group (VNAHG)

Provides primary health care services at the school for children in Pre-K to high school, by nurse practitioners. Services include diagnosis and treatment of common childhood health issues, medication prescriptions, health screenings, and management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes. Nurse Practitioners also provide health education and referrals to community resources to meet the students' needs.
