Supporting families in managing parenting stress and everyday challenges, the FSC promotes positive outcomes for children, youth, and families, fostering increased involvement through formal and informal support networks. Family activities offered include parenting classes, resume building, job search support, ESL and citizenship tutoring, community advisory, movie nights, financial literacy, healthy living classes, family crafts, and a moms support group.

Supports adults interested in sharpening their educational skills to attain their high school equivalency certificate, improve their English skills, or prepare for the U.S. Citizenship exam. Instruction is provided in classrooms as well as through individualized directed computer learning. Some programs may require a registration fee.

These classes are for adults preparing for the United States Citizenship Test and Interview in the next 6 months to 2 years, or who want to improve their English speaking, reading and writing by learning about American history and culture. This class is offered once a year and it is English-only.

Offers entry-level ESL and civics course to adults. The civics program allows immigrants and other limited English proficient speakers the opportunity to improve their English literacy skills while learning about U.S. history and system of government.

English as a Second Language (ESL): Classes and tutoring sessions for those interested in learning English grammar, vocabulary, composition skills and conversation.

Offers a variety of classes in Adult Basic Skills (ABE), NJ High School Diploma Prep, English as a Second Language (ESL), and civics. The Educational Services Program provides free adult education classes throughout Ocean County for anyone in the community. Daytime GED classes are available.

Offers three levels of courses, including a basic and advanced course. In each level, students learn how to listen, speak, write and read in the English language. Students will also describe American cultural practices, ad learn relevant aspects of USA history, government, and geography, as well as preparation to become American citizens.
