Offers an after school and summer program at the Eastward Recreation Center for youth, ages 6 through 14. The program is centered on two core programs, the Eisenhower Police Mini-Station and the Phoenix Curriculum and will aim to reduce the risk factors for violent behavior among school aged children by increasing protective factors and strengthening their capacity to adopt healthy behaviors.

Offers a year round education and support group trained to provide violence prevention and life skills education to their peers and our Summer Youth employment program which provides valuable training and jobs to youth for the summer.

Offers behavioral and mental health services to individuals, couples, and families grappling with issues like domestic violence, juvenile delinquency, truancy, school challenges, and child abuse or neglect, providing essential support to victims. Services feature parenting groups, anger management classes, therapeutic youth groups addressing life skills, anger management, peer pressure, and conflict resolution, tailored trainings/workshops for agencies on team building, communication, and conflict resolution, psychiatric services with medication monitoring, and recruitment of and supportive services for Resource (Foster) Families.

Offers a variety of comprehensive services, including Division of Child Protection and Permanency referrals and contracted services such as parenting and anger management groups, individual, couple, and family counseling. Additionally, it provides substance use disorder services like intensive outpatient and co-occurring disorders treatment, along with psychiatric services. Mental health outpatient services feature one-on-one therapy and anger management sessions, while the Family Crisis Intervention Unit delivers brief counseling to children in the Newark school system. Furthermore, the program offers individual and group counseling for domestic violence victims.

Pairs youth with mentors who act as positive role models, guiding them through conflict resolution, communication, and life skills. YDMP services include youth group meetings, mentoring by adults over 19 for a minimum of six months, parent workshops for improved parenting and communication, and provision of transportation and healthy meals.

Provides a variety of supportive programs to students of Perth Amboy High School and their families through the School Based Youth Services Program (SBYSP). Offers case management, assistance with college applications, community referrals for social services, immigration services, employment counseling, and recreational activities. Delivers intensive mental health counseling, including individual, group, and family sessions covering topics such as school, drugs/alcohol, abuse, family conflicts, peer pressure, relationships, eating disorders, and violence prevention. Collaborates with community health providers to teach pregnancy prevention and sexual education in ninth-grade health classes, and offers one-on-one sessions on risk reduction and healthy decisions.

Provides a coordinated response to traumatic incidents in the county. Seeks to address prevention of self-destructive behaviors of at risk youth. Oversees the Traumatic Loss Coalition (TLC) of Mercer County. Part of this response includes suicide prevention awareness, education and outreach assistance for parents, professionals, and the general community.

Provides community-oriented alcohol and other drug prevention services for children, adults and families. Services are offered primarily within the Latino community and are culturally sensitive. Including alcohol, tobacco, and other drug prevention groups, violence prevention, educational presentations/workshops, substance abuse prevention services.

Distributes firearm safety kits to local residents on a first come first serve basis, through the sheriff's office partnership with Project Child Safe, the nationwide firearms safety education program.

Offers year round recreational and social activities that foster positive social and physical development of children in Trenton and the surrounding communities. Activities include juvenile delinquency prevention programs, mentoring, tutoring, baseball, basketball, bowling, etc.

Provides a complete source for education, information and referral, as well as intervention with substance abuse and violence issues. The program provides education and prevention to schools, families, etc. The agency presents the program to all schools in Hunterdon County from grades K to high school. Substance abuse evaluations and counseling are provided for probation and anyone in need of the services.

Offers enrollees with a 2 month program that offers twelve hours of weekly after-school supervision, tutoring, counseling, job readiness, interview coaching, and employment referrals. Goals for the CEO Program include: decreasing interest in gangs and drugs, improving academic skills, increasing self-esteem, positively impacting attitudes about learning and school, improving school attendance, and providing personal encouragement and role models.

Offers group-based prevention services for at-risk youth aged 10 through 21, addressing gang involvement, teen violence, and teen pregnancy. Prevention services provided through OTARY include age-appropriate group counseling, parent support groups, coordination and referrals to other services, convenient community-based groups, recreational outings, mental health services, peer mentoring, and transportation assistance via NJ Transit.

Provides a community-based, delinquency-intervention program that helps juvenile offenders, aged 11 to 17, receive opportunities to gain new skills, connect with better options, complete terms of court and probation, or avoid formal charges altogether. Services offered include but are not limited to: conflict resolution skills development, gang culture education and prevention, violence prevention, tolerance and critical thinking skills, and training in respect for authority.

Offers a four-month program for juvenile offenders aimed at nurturing self-worth and self-esteem. Provides educational training, vocational instruction, and group counseling services to youth referred by the family court. Program includes educational training in classic skills and computers, vocational instruction through classroom training and job placement, counseling including group and individual sessions, field trips, and a re-entry program aiding return to school with marking period reviews and resume preparation.

Engages audiences with a performance from an improvisational theatre group exploring adolescent issues creatively, serving as a forum for discussion. The theatrical approach fosters open communication and acts as a teaching tool. Reflections ensemble is available for Family Guidance programs, staff training, assembly programs, and more. This program also enhances acting and theatre performance skills.

Offers educational resources for schools systems, businesses, faith communities and the children and families for substance abuse and violence prevention. The programs aim to help families and children tackle important issues through engaging and interactive sessions that use age-appropriate language.
