Provides short-term comfort and care to individuals with disabilities in situations where a caregiver needs relief or has need to be absent for a short period of time due to a trip or medical emergency. Throughout their stay or the respite period, support is provided in areas of hygiene, cooking, cleaning, transportation, assistance at medical appointments, recreation, and food shopping/errand assistance. Respite is provided in out-of-home and in a group home setting.
