Provides information and referrals for individuals facing homelessness or housing instability, including shelter, transitional housing, emergency rent and utility help, groceries, and daily meals.
Evaluates families for case management needs and coordinates emergency shelter placement for families. Provides community based referrals and assists with access to benefits and housing assistance.
Offers life-improvement support for those who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or in other crisis situations. Includes a comprehensive intake and offers assessment and program linkage for housing and other supportive services.
Prioritizes and assists homeless individuals, ages 18 and over, and families in obtaining permanent housing, serving as a point of exit from homelessness. Consumers must satisfy the criteria for homelessness as defined by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and are referred by the PATH program. Individuals may also be referred by homeless shelters and the Monmouth County Social Services Homeless Intake.
Offers extensive one-on-one case management through the Coordinated Entry Program for homeless individuals and families, providing comprehensive intake, assessment, and program linkage for housing and supportive services. Case managers guide consumers in understanding available resources, eligibility, and facilitate connections. Additionally, GSECDC's Drop-In Centers welcome all homeless individuals and families.

Services include Shelter Loss Intervention, placing clients in motels, hotels, and boarding homes, Home Locator Service providing rental listings, and Cooperative Servicing Plan utilizing donations from faith communities and agencies. All services are contingent upon fund availability.
