Legal Advocacy | Passaic County Domestic and Sexual Violence Center (PCDSVC)
Provides legal advocacy services through the center's court advocate, empowering survivors of domestic violence and/or sexual assault by informing them of their rights, assisting in applying for temporary restraining orders, answering questions about restraining orders, serving as a liaison with law enforcement and court personnel, offering court preparation and accompaniment for hearings, providing ongoing support through the legal process, and assisting with other relevant court matters.

PCWC provides shelter for women and their children, crisis intervention, individual and group counseling, emotional support, legal advocacy, and accompaniments during medical attention and criminal justice procedures. Informational and referral services can be obtained through PCWC's 24-hour hotline.
