Outpatient Substance Use Services | Northwest Essex Community Healthcare Network (NECHN)

Provides structured and supervised outpatient and co-occurring substance abuse programs tailored to the level of treatment required. Services encompass individual sessions, psycho-educational services, group counseling, and family sessions as needed. The programs offer in-house drug/alcohol screening, intensive services, and linkage to education and employment services. Additionally, it caters to the Intoxicated Driver Resource Center Program (IDRC) and Substance Abuse Initiative Program (SAI), providing individual and group therapy. For participants in the Essex County Drug Court Program, referral services include individual and/or group therapy. The co-occurring disorder program specifically addresses patients diagnosed with both mental illness and substance abuse addiction.

A sliding scale fee system is available for addiction services

Eligibility

Individuals, ages 18 and older, who have a substance abuse addiction. Services are also available to applicants diagnosed with a mental illness and a substance abuse disorder.
