Adjustment to Vision Loss | Heightened Independence and Progress (HIP)
Facilitating adjustment to vision loss, the multi-faceted Adjustment to Vision Loss Project links individuals to peer support groups, mental health consultants, and trained professionals. It fosters a network of peer groups, enabling members to share experiences and support one another, while training sessions address rehabilitation, psychological issues, and lifestyle changes. The project offers a telephone linkline for clinical consultations and organizes virtual and in-person activities.
