Assisting eligible farm workers in New Jersey to achieve self-sufficiency through successful job placement. The program offers a range of services including adult basic education, career exploration, computer literacy, customized training, eligibility assistance, ESL and workplace literacy, entrepreneurship training, post-job placement follow-up, career counseling, interview assistance, life skills training, occupational skills training, on-the-job training, application assistance, resume support, skills assessments, skill upgrading, supportive services, and work experience opportunities.

Eligibility

MUST meet all of these requirements:1) Farmworker, or dependent/spouse of a farmworker2) Earned 50% or more of total income from farmwork, or was employed 50% or more of total work time in farmwork3) Worked 25 days or earned at least $800 in farmwork4) US citizen, US national, legal permanent resident, refugee, asylee, parolee, or other immigrant authorized by the Attorney General to work in the United States 5) Low income (call for requirements)6) If male, must be registed for Selective Service
