Description

The disease COVID-19, originating in Wuhan, China, spreads primarily through air (coughing and sneezing), close contact, and touching contaminated surfaces. Prevention measures, effective for flu and colds, include frequent handwashing, avoiding face touching, contact with sick individuals, and staying home when unwell. In case of suspected or confirmed coronavirus, stay hydrated, rest, use fever-reducing medications, limit contact, consult your primary care physician, and call 9-1-1 for emergencies.
