Description

Serves as a monthly cash allowance that allows seniors and people with disabilities who are NJ Family Care participants to choose and hire anyone they want for their Personal Care Assistant (PCA) services, including professionals, relatives, friends, and neighbors.

Provides health coverage to children, pregnant women, parents/caretaker relatives, single adults, childless couples, the aged, blind, disabled, and individuals qualified for long-term care services. Also provides comprehensive health coverage and a wide-range of services including: doctor visits, hospital services, prescriptions, tests, vision care, mental health care, dental, nursing home care and other healthcare services, depending on the person's eligibility category.
