Provides a technology-based program for adults, ages 21 and older, with significant physical and/or developmental disabilities. Utilizes a person-centered planning approach to assist adults in obtaining and maintaining employment in technology or related fields. Three levels of instruction are provided which include: acquisition of skills, implementation of skills, and independent implementation of skills.The program offers an instructional blend of technology skills, critical thinking skills, travel training, independent living skills, career exploration, job sampling, advocacy, self-evaluation skills, transition to Independence groups, and community linkages.
