Open to first time home buyers, who wish to purchase their first home in the City of Paterson. Applicants must qualify as low income in order to participate in the FTHB program. In addition, all applicants MUST complete a homebuying counseling course offered through the Paterson Housing Authority. The Paterson Housing Authority requires a non-refunded fee of $25.00 to take the homebuying counseling course.

Description

Through the First Time Home Buyer Program (FTHBP), financial assistance is offered to qualified applicants looking to purchase their first home in the City of Paterson. The approved household (s) can receive up to $14,500.00 towards the down payments and/or closing cost of the property.
