Eligibility
Open to first time home buyers, who wish to purchase their first home in the City of Paterson. Applicants must qualify as low income in order to participate in the FTHB program. In addition, all applicants MUST complete a homebuying counseling course offered through the Paterson Housing Authority. The Paterson Housing Authority requires a non-refunded fee of $25.00 to take the homebuying counseling course.
Required documents
Photo ID, complete application, counseling certificate, current credit report, two years income tax returns W-2s, proof of saving, birth certificate and social security for each household members.
