Special Needs Program - Burlington Twp. | Occupational Training Center of Burlington County
Provides a special needs program for adults with complex medical issues, supplementing community, behavioral, and therapy programs. Employs dedicated teams of nurses and occupational therapists to assist consumers in various ways, such as increasing range of motion, reducing muscle atrophy, enhancing cognitive awareness, providing muscular stimulation, addressing swallowing issues, and improving daily living skills. Staff members, with great care, deliver these services and, when appropriate, incorporate therapeutic devices like supine standers, therapeutic wings, and adaptive equipment for routine activities. The program also utilizes specialized equipment to enhance cognitive awareness and provide muscle stimulation. The OTC is committed to tailoring therapies to meet the unique needs of each consumer, with transportation to the center provided.
