Description

Offers specialized classes and support groups which cover civics for residency preparation, ESL at varying levels, financial literacy, health and nutrition, practical skills, and Spanish for English-speaking professionals.

Community Affairs and Resource Center (CARC)

Provides a wide variety of services to the Latino, Creole, Haitian, African-American, and Caucasian communities. Provides case management, translation/interpretation services, notary public, job readiness classes, employment placement assistance, rental and energy assistance, lead education, lead hazard reduction assistance in homes, advocacy and referral services. Additional services include English as a second language (ESL) classes, workshops, parenting classes, health classes, and nutrition classes.
