Jersey Assistance for Community Caregiving | Family and Children's Service (FCS)
Provides a variety of in-home services to eligible seniors age 60 or older who are at risk of placement in a nursing home, including personal care assistance, home modification, adult day care and more. Qualified individuals may have the opportunity to hire their own family, friends or neighbors to provide the care they need. Service plans are uniquely designed to the individual.

New Jersey residents, who meet the following criteria: - Are age 60 or older - Are not financially eligible for other specific services - Have resources at or below $40,000 (for individual) or $60,000 (for a couple) - Lives independently in the community

Provides 14 programs and services that assist vulnerable people and help to strengthen, protect and preserve the dignity and independence of those in need. Serves and addresses homelessness; neglect, abuse and exploitation; health and respite care; financial instability due to physical, developmental or mental disabilities; childhood literacy and obesity; Medicare counseling; and long-term care assistance.
