Bureau of Rooming and Boarding House Standards | NJ Department of Community Affairs (DCA)

Enforces social and safety requirements for all rooming and boarding houses and free-standing residential health care facilities in New Jersey. Conducts inspections, issues licenses, and publicly posts inspection reports of all governed facilities on their website. If a consumer has a complaint about any of these facilities, that has not been adequately addressed at a more local level, they can issue their complaint to the Bureau.

Call or send a fax to register a complaint. A staff member from the agency will need to visit the boarding home to inspect the situation.
