The Arc of New Jersey's Mainstreaming Medical Care Program | Arc of New Jersey
Addresses barriers to primary medical care for individuals with developmental disabilities and recommends strategies to overcome them. Services include a clearinghouse of healthcare practitioners for the developmentally disabled and the Women's Health Project, information and referral services on accessing healthcare, major initiatives in Managed Care for People with Disabilities and The Women's Health Project, presentations on healthcare issues, publication of the medical newsletter Healthy Times, and strong advocacy on statewide committees focusing on health care for people with developmental disabilities.
