Equips TANF and low-income individuals with skills and credentials through the Health Professions Opportunity Grant (HPOG), offering funding for education-related expenses like tuition, textbooks, medical supplies, uniforms, certification exams, and job search assistance. Eligible participants, chosen by lottery, can access diverse HPOG course offerings, spanning roles such as Billing & Coding, Certified Nursing Assistant, Registered Nurse, Pharmacy Technician, and more.

Eligibility
- U.S. citizen or permanent resident.- Must be at least 18 years of age.- No criminal record.- Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participant or low-income.- Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) scores of 9th grade level or higher in Reading and Math. Testing is waived for applicants with proof of college degree.- Must agree to provide consent to have personal data accessed as part of the research study.
