Utilizes volunteers who provide free, non-medical services for home bound elderly and disabled individuals. Includes transportation to doctors' offices, grocery shopping, friendly visiting, respite care for caregivers, light housekeeping, telephone reassurance, occasional meal preparation, indoor chores, outdoor chores such as lawn care, minor home repairs, other non-medical help.
