Housing and Support Program | HOME of Somerset County
Provides a continuum of care for homeless families with children. From emergency shelter through our housing-based programs, professional services are supplemented by a large community support network. Professional staff and volunteers provide basic services in a supportive and respectful way that stresses human dignity and empowerment.

A screening is required. Please call or visit the website to send an email for to begin process.
Eligibility
Open to displaced parent(s) or guardian(s) with children, and late-term pregnant women. Clients must be physically and mentally stable, with no recent history of drug or alcohol abuse, and no history of violence, arsony, or sexual offense. In addition, clients must be working or seeking work.This service is only available for three to five families (up to 14 individuals) at a time. The average stay in the program is about 3 months. Service runs year-round.
