Involuntary Outpatient Commitment (IOC) - Cherry Hill | Oaks Integrated Care
Provides prescribed, community - based, outpatient mental health services, under court order to individuals with a serious mental illness and frequent users of inpatient and/or crisis screening. Services are hearings arranged within 72 hours of prescribed treatment, psychiatric evaluation and medication monitoring, case management, emergency on - call services, person - centered wellness and recovery planning, and linkage to additional services.

Application process
Family members, physicians offices, inpatient mental health/health unit in local hospitals, state and private hospitals with involuntary mental health units and community mental health providers can make referrals for services.

Eligibility
Open to adults 18 years of age and older, not at risk of a medical crisis or adults with a serious mental illness, which if not treated could result in involuntary commitment to inpatient hospitalization.
