Adult Protective Services (APS) | Morris County Aging, Disabilities and Community Programming
Provides adult protective services for vulnerable individuals who are victims of abuse, neglect, exploitation, and/or unsafe living conditions. Reports/complaints are taken and assessed over the phone. If deemed appropriate, an experienced social worker will go to the home and evaluate the situation in person. Identified victims will then receive further services to help them in their situation.

Morris County residents who are: - Over 18 years of age, AND - Live in a home (not a licensed facility), AND - Perceived to be a subject of abuse, neglect or exploitation, AND - Lacking sufficient understanding or capacity to make decisions
